Tuna fish salad sandwiches with just the right amount of onion and celery chopped in, topped with summer tomato slices on small soft twist bakery rolls (topped with sesame seeds) and accompanied by thick ice cold chocolate milkshakes.Served in the shade of a tree, listening to birds singing their hearts out. Definitely my Mom's Rice Pudding. Though I can't say it's a favorite dessert, I do enjoy it by association with childhood, and like the more updated versions (a molded one which I'm making for my Aunt's BDay -- it's delicious along with a caramel sauce). Anyway, Mom's was warming, very creamy with plump raisins and redolent with cinnamon.
By the way, Anne, I've tagged you on my blog. Please visit for details!
