I'm a day early since I am indeed a mother and I want tomorrow off~completely.
Everybody has a mother, and hopefully yours is more this:
than this:
If you love your mama and you live near enough to do something nice for her, here is a link to some really good looking recipes. Yep, I'm not even posting a recipe today. After all, my personal favorite for Mother's Day is reservations.
LOL what a pic that second one is! I'd love to be able to do something special for my real mom, but I can't give her anything better than the bliss of heaven she is enjoying.
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day, Anne!
Oh, Melanie. I'm so sorry. I think I knew that and I meant to mention "if your mom is still here" but I'm sort of muddled (which is more the real reason for no recipes today!).
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Mother's Day.
PS-that second picture is the infamous "No more wire hangers EVER!" scene from Mommie Dearest lol
I got a good laugh too. Which I needed. And I decided that it's really OK that the reality lies somewhere in between the two.
ReplyDeleteDo something good for yourself today!

ReplyDeleteCute Post. I'll never forget that scene in Mommy Dearest. Thank God I have a great mom. I mad her Tiramisu for Mother's Day and posted the recipe. Take a peek when you get a minute or should I say IF you get a minute?
ReplyDeleteI'm in Rhode Island. The little speck on the map. And I actually froze the leftovers.
